Whew! I have to admit that 2018 is starting off with some inauspicious beginnings, but I’m also taking it as a fantastic sign that you, dear reader, are viewing this blog on our very new digital digs, the new and improved No Fonts Given Co!
If you’re new around here, first off, welcome! Please take some time to poke around the site – I’ll be updating the blog archives in the next couple of weeks – but in the meantime there’s plenty of brand spanking new work on our portfolio page, we’ve got some new services offerings up, and of course, the entire site is new and shiny.
And speaking of new and shiny, here is the mini style guide I created to go along with the new NFGco visual brand. The inspiration was bold, saturated colors, early 2000 Kate Spade meets Venice Beach, aiming to evoke a upbeat and warm feeling.
Some highlights of the new brand include:
- a completely custom logo (wordmark) and secondary marks for a variety of uses
- a series of lively illustrated icons to inform (and delight!) and bring in the secondary brand colors
- coordinating fonts and – as always! – custom patterns to take the brand to the next level and ensure that everything is tied together in one gorgeous, cohesive experience
