Things have been interesting lately, to say the least.
First off, I’m going to be making some significant changes around here– both to the content and design of Linz Loves You. The ole’ girl needs a makeover, and I’m going to be posting more design, branding, and “what I’ve learned” business posts. I’ll hopefully still have fun posts like the “Love This, Live That” series and of course, I’ll be throwing in Linz Loves… posts when I find things that you’ve got to see. But all in all, the tides are changing in a pretty exciting direction there.
Speaking of design, I’ve been looking for part-time, temp, or internship (or possibly full time) design gigs at agencies and awesome companies around the LA area. Since I’ve never worked at an agency or under a senior designer/creative director, it feels like a good move to learn a lot and have that experience under my belt. And an excuse to get a work wardrobe that fits!
Annnnd speaking of things that fit…I’ve been working out a lot the last 10 days — 7 out of the last 10 days, to be exact– and trying to maintain my 30lb weight loss while also toning and getting in shape and establishing a workout routine. Still not enjoying the whole gym thing, but holding out hope that maybe I’ll learn to love it. Any tips on that (or commiseration) would be more than welcome!
